Unit Five was about teaching themes. This unit discussed different ways of delivering a lesson plan to young learners through music, songs, games, crafts, etc. It is important to consider appropriate age level for each game or song and to make sure not to overdo it. This unit also provided valuable resources of information for various web links on ideas for games and materials for young learners. At the end of the unit was a discussion on the cohesion of all of the different ideas and materials coming together to form lesson plans. There were numerous examples and materials provided for planning lessons for young learners.
