This unit generally covers the roles of teachers and learners in English as a foreign or second language teaching learning situation in which all the given information are indeed useful for those who would like to become effective EFL/ESL teachers. I've learnt many facts which can help teachers to provide effective EFL teaching. The main point to ponder was that teachers should care of their students? learning rather than their teaching. This made me bear in mind that good EFL/ESL teacher needs not only to be proficient in subject matter but also to have pedagogical knowledge including knowledge about his or her students.
