The unit on Planning Lessons is one of my favorites of the course. The lessons I learned here will be a great planning aid as well as both a record and working document to keep me headed in the right direction and be used as something with which I may refer back. The sections to include in a lesson plan such as procedure, phase and timing will all help me to structure my teaching. The examples and sheets given are an immense help too. I understood that organization was key however am thankful to learn of the practical things I can do to make my lesson go more smoothly (like arrange the seating and make sure the board is clean).
