Unit 12 discussed productive skills in the classroom and their importance. We previously studied the receptive skills, but now we are focused on writing and speaking instead of students just absorbing new knowledge. The unit was split into two sections, speaking and writing. The speaking section was very informative due to the text highlighting the difference between accuracy and fluency. The writing section was also very useful as it discussed penmanship, spelling, and writing layouts. Both sections included multiple activity examples and the unit ended with a page of links to helpful classroom games that students might enjoy.
