Unit 18 discuss more parts of grammar beginning with modal auxiliary verbs which are used before other verbs to add meaning to the main verb. Models express different ideas such as obligation, possibility, permission, ability etc. Another part of grammar discussed was passive voice which focuses emphasis on what is being done to as opposed who is doing the action. Unit 17 also discussed relative clauses which are a group of words with a subject and a verbal that describe, identify,or give more information about a noun. Lastly, Unit 18 discusses phrasal verbs which are multiple word verbs such as fill up, turn out, turn off etc.
