This unit was rather content heavy and covered quite a few topics. Modal Auxiliary verbs were explained well with examples given to aid understanding. Phrasal verbs were discussed as well as the different types and examples for each. Active and passive voice were also addressed followed by a description and examples of independent, dependent and relative clauses. I find that I get a lot more out of units that have example activities/ideas included as it gets me thinking about how I could structure activities in my own lessons. It also gives a little bit of 'time out' from the solid theory study and helps one to stay interested.
