Unit 7 talks about teaching vocabulary, grammar or language structure and language functions. Teaching vocabulary deals with appropriateness to the students and the task given to them, and it should be something teachable to the students depending on their level of learning. For introducing grammatical or language structures, it should be aligned to the level of the class and the syllabus so that the student can grasp the meaning, know when and how to use it, and follow a correct form and pattern. Language functions, such as agreeing, inviting, or suggesting, are best taught through the use of Boomerang or Patchwork ESA lessons.
