This unit covered the qualities of what makes a 'good' teacher and a 'good' learner. It showcased the different roles teachers can play in the lessons, and also covered the different types of students. Adult learners have different needs compared to young learners, which are further divided into pre-puberty, post-puberty, and very young learners. Knowing and understanding their different needs, motivation, and cultural background plays a role in conducting effective and engaging lessons that will create 'successful' students. It also covered the 6 different language levels, which also correspond to the Common European Framework.
