From this unit I have learned of the components comprising of the Production Skills that will be taught in the classroom, those being: Speaking and Writing. I learned why we speak to each other, their importance in general and in an ESA lesson. Considerations for an ESA Lesson / Straight Arrow Lesson, what to check for before starting, and general outlines for lessons in both speaking and writing. I learned of the sub-skills that will be needed to be taught or brushed over in a lesson, including Handwriting, Spelling, and Punctuation. There are also two different types of writing with regards to purpose, situational and creative.
