This unit covered receptive skills. Receptive skills are reading and writing, these skills are necessary to fully comprehend and practice learning English. This unit stresses that listening skills may take longer to master and/or can be more difficult to learn as it takes longer to connect hearing a word or phrase to the meaning rather than reading it with the words in front of you.
