That unit taught me that teaching productive skills speaking and writing are very important. Students that use those skills have already spent time practising receptive skills, so now they need to practice productive skills by producing language. They can listen to teacher's story and then practice their own skills writing their own stories.This unit we reflected on teaching new language and how it should be delivered to the classroom. This is dependent on many factors and the desired outcome of the lesson. Lessons should always be customized to all the factors needed in consideration. Vocabulary, grammar and language functions are equally crucial parts in the English language.
