This unit talked about teaching vocabulary, grammar and functions. It provided helpful ways to teach vocabulary and also gave examples of the various types of lessons plans including, the engage, study and activate phases of the lesson. For me, this unit helped to reinforce those phases and provide great ideas for designing new lesson plans.This unit provides a break from the theoretical materials and gives us a chance to observe a real life English language classroom. Here are two contrasting lessons that highlight some of the basic differences between effective and ineffective teaching. I have learnt from this unit the difference between the effective and ineffective teaching.
