ESA framework is an important tool that we have at our disposal as teachers. It allows us to plan our lessons from start to finish and identify problems that we may encounter. Having an idea of the potential problems beforehand gives us a chance to plan for contingencies. In this unit I also learned about authentic and non-authentic materials.In this unit the breakdown given of how to set up the seating of a small, medium and large group of students was very informative. I also enjoyed the part of the teachers position and movement during lessons, when writing on the board, and instructing students. I also found establishing rapport and responding to problem behavior informative.
