This unit covered the rules regarding phonetics and different strategies for teaching phonetics. I found this unit very helpful because phonetic rules are very foreign to me. Seeing all of the rules and the phonemic symbols is really useful for allowing me to better understand how a non-native speaker must learn how to pronounce English words.This unit gives a good overview of the present tenses (present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous). I also like the way that it sets out the usages of the tenses and the brief summaries of possible teaching exercises. The rules of the tenses are also set out in a very orderly manner and quite accessible.
