Course books are such a major part of teaching yet they can be predictable and boring for the students. Therefore, it is important to make sure the course book that you have is suitable and interesting for the students. If this is not the case you must adjust the books accordingly to make your lessons more interesting for you and the students.This lesson was quite interesting because it made me think and reflect upon how my previous teachers would use these methods while teaching. This unit also helped me understand exactly how one would go about engaging and communicating with students. Such as asking them their favorite animal and producing light conversation in the engage stage.
