This unit is very important to me because I struggle with past tense myself. It is extremely important for teachers to understand the differences, and be able to teach them to the students. The most difficult part of this unit was describing the types of verb tenses, but I will continue to try and learn the time differences. I learned how to teach these verb tenses to ESL students in a fun way, because learning grammar can be extremely boring. I also learned how to teach irregular verb tenses to my students, which is difficult for ESL learners to learn. Overall, this unit was very important to me. I will use what I learned to further my understanding of past tense.
