This unit covered some techniques for how to teach the different forms of language differently. Vocabulary, grammar, and function won't each be able to be taught in the exact same ways because there are different requirements to learning them. The unit gives examples on how to follow the ESA guide to teach vocabulary, grammar, and function, as well as some effective activities that can be done for each of those sections. Understanding the different requirements that each area of the language has in order to be taught is critical in being able to teach them effectively. A teacher can't simply reuse one activity over and over and expect it to work for all situations.
