This unit was dedicated to teachers and learners. First, the roles and types of both were presented. Then, teaching adults as opposed to teaching younger learners, was taken under consideration. Advantages and disadvantages of dealing with individual adults as well as groups were highlighted. A more precise look on four basic skills (reading, speaking, writing and listening) in terms of teaching business English was taken. Finally, different learning methodologies were covered. There was also provided a detailed description of the ESA method suggested by Jeremy Harmer. It includes three phases (engage, study and activate) that can be used in different combinations.
