This unit is divided in two parts. The first deals with a list and explanations about the main roles a teacher has during his/her lessons. Instead, the second part deals with the main characteristics of learners, ranging from their language level, age, culture, motivation for learning to name but a few, as well as a distinction between language levels. Even if I already knew about the differences between language levels established by the Council of Europe, this first unit was very helpful in explaining the role of a teacher. in fact, I have learnt more about how a teacher should act in the classroom as well as the roles he/she has to switch throughout the lesson.
