This unit spoke about the different ways a classroom could be managed. Ideas like hand gestures, eye-contact, name usage, seated and standing time, and teacher and student talk time were discussed and their effects on the classroom were explained. Building rapport is important with students and the class should be held in a way that is interesting for the students. Teachers needs to use a variety of methods in order to keep the class feeling \"fresh\" and interesting and not repetitive and boring. Teachers need to try to keep students on their toes so they do not lose focus due to being able to predict what the teacher is going to do and when they will be called on.
