I think all materials are important in a class but the teacher should maximize its usage and not just use it for the sake of using it. Materials and equipment should be also prepared before hand, so it will not malfunction. A teacher should also have a back-up plan, so that the class will not be disrupted and the student's won't have to wait while doing nothing. Teaching aids should be thoroughly researched and carefully planned ahead of time depending on the appropriateness for the age and level of the class. Also if there are hard words from the materials that students won't be able to understand, teachers should take note of it and explain it to students clearly.
