Unit 12 on teaching productive skills was very informative. Similar to the last unit, speaking and writing skills are extremely important and a big part of lessons in the classroom and I liked learning about teaching techniques and activities. I especially enjoyed learning about a typical writing ESA and the information this unit provided on what aspects of writing are important when learning English. I also thought the games section at the end was very beneficial. I think games are a great way to keep students motivated and engaged while still learning and practicing skills. This is especially true for practicing fluency of speaking in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
