This unit discusses specific concerns that arise when teaching special groups (specifically, beginners, individuals, and students of \"business English\"). The unit highlights many of the difficulties inherent in teaching beginners and provides strategy suggestions for how to overcome those difficulties while avoiding teaching pitfalls (such as over-correcting or allowing students, particularly young students, to become bored). Finally, the unit discusses the importance of analyzing the needs of business English students, as they come from different backgrounds and are often studying English for a specific work-related purpose, rather than for personal enrichment.
