In this unit I learned about different methods for teaching English, with special attention paid to the Engage, Study, Activate (ESA) method of teaching. This unit was more specific about ways to teach in the classroom and how to fill class time by using either a Straight Arrow ESA lesson, a Boomerang lesson, or a Patchwork lesson. Each section gave examples and tips of how to enact that particular component in the classroom. For example, in the \"Study\" section activities would include pronunciation activities, spelling activities, word order activities, etc. I also learned about the importance of giving feedback and the best ways to do that in a classroom setting.
