The fourth unit describes the essential information about how the teacher should teach vocabulary items, grammatical structures and language functions. Concerning the vocabulary, the unit presents the criteria that should be used in selecting which words to teach, which is very useful for every teacher. Moreover from this unit I have learnt the techniques that should be used for vocabulary teaching as well as introducing grammatical structures and language functions at engage, study and activate stage. This unit is of great importance for me as it presents the typical vocabulary, grammar and language function lessons, which will help me in the correct lesson planning.
