I have seen an amazing example of teaching in the second video, while the first appeared nearly as a disaster, so I felt myself uncomfortable and miserable, while even watching. You could even think that it were two different people! Unfortunately, it was an illustration of how most of Russian schools teach English. On the other side, the teacher showed positive attitude, was polite and nice in the second video. Also he used almost everything we have learnt about teaching techniques in previous units. All steps of ESA were obvious and were completed within given time. It was a pleasure to see brilliant example of the lesson, according to ESA framework, for beginners.
