In this unit i have learned about the methods that can be used to present a new lesson to the class. Over the years many methods have been used such as grammar-translation, Audio-lingualism, Task-based learning etc. each of these methods use different materials and techniques to explain and clarify the correct way of using the language. One of these methods which motivates and allows students to use the language was introduced by Jeremy Harmer that included three main elements. These elements are engage, study and activate. This unit carried on explaining the element by giving examples to use each one and the rules that need to be considered while using these elements.
