This lesson was fairly generic in its content. It gave some very basic, though good ideas for choosing language and grammar and the need for practicing language function during class. It reiterated the Engage, Study, Activate patterns and how different patterns of these would work well with different areas of learning.The ESA plan is highly beneficial and to adapt it to the student's learning is very good. What I have seen with my students is their ability to grasp the concept easily and know how to correspond to it appropriately. ESA is a good model for the first-time teacher, but can also be used by the most experienced ones, too.
