Unit 5 is a fantastic source of behavioural tips for teachers, what and how to say, to stand or be seated, eye-contact and gestures... Everything matters. I'm going to put into practice all these pieces of advice. Another useful tip is that STT should be a priority at an activate stage, so TTT must be kept to a minimum.This unit returns to teaching theory and take a close look at reading and listening skills. The unit examines the importance of these skills and then covers various techniques and activities associated with them. I have learnt from this unit about the importance of pre-teaching vocabulary and careful selection of texts.
