I this unit I have learned about the essence of lesson plan. I have also learned about the content of the lesson plan, for example what exactly should a good lesson plan entail. At the end I feel that it's very important for teachers to prepare lesson plans as they are the guiding light that would lead them to success,Without which from what I understand it will be very difficult for the teacher to follow and remember all the necessary steps that are needed, because there could be digression at any given point in time. I have also learned about the resources (teaching aid)that the teacher might need that should be included in the lesson plan, Which I think are very important because I believe without teaching aids it will be extremely difficult for the students to understand so with teaching aids that helps a great way. Another thing is for historical records to show that the teacher as taught a particular lesson even if he is not in class anyone who steps in would have an idea of where the teacher stops. In conclusion I believe that for any successful lesson to take place teachers must write lesson plans to sever as their guiding light.
