Unit 7 has touched upon the teachings of vocabulary, grammar and language function. It has helped me revise the ESA teaching method and the various ways in which we can organise a lesson plan. It also showed me how to create lesson plans catered to teaching new vocabulary, new grammar and new language functions to students with varying levels.This unit covered how to teach vocabulary, grammar and functions. With vocabulary for example, I was made to take into consideration what exactly a student needs to know about a new word and what they don't need to know. It's also important to consider the similarities with the student's native language and the English words they already know.
