I knew most of this unit?s content previously but it was definitely refreshing to revise over what I knew. The knowledge of the difference between present and present perfect tenses along with continuous forms will be very helpful in teaching English later on in future. I?ll be keen to learn more about other types of tenses in later units.This unit described the teaching of vocabulary, grammar, and language functions. Examples of Engage, Study, and Activate techniques were given for each of the above. Examples of straight arrow, boomerang, and patchwork scheduling were offered as well. Ultimately, it is the teacher who decides which techniques work best for each type of lesson.
