In this unit, the focus is on teaching vocabulary, grammar, and language functions. They give clear examples of the engage phase, study phase and activate phase for teaching vocabulary and grammar. It also shows the importance of teaching the use, meaning, forms and patterns, as well as spoken and written forms for both vocabulary and grammar.This unit was a little more difficult in realizing some of the different teaching methods and how they are used. I think I will be able to implement this lesson with the previous lessons in my classroom. The children will benefit from me learning this material. I am learning more about the language structures and am excited to put them to use.
