Quite a useful unit in which you learn about the different receptive skills. It was short, but I don't think it should have been any longer, as it was fairly straightforward. You learn how to incorporate these receptive skills in an ENGAGE lesson plan through many example exercises, but also how to motivate students to engage in these lessons.During the Unit the pros and cons of lesson planning are laid out as well as what should be the general content of a lesson plan and some important points to bear in mind while doing so. The class examples given where useful, particularly the pages on what the Study Phase of a lesson could look like on paper as well as its respective exercises.
