the two receptive skills are reading and listening both are same important. the different specialist skills needed for reading and listening succefully are: predictive skills, scanning skills, skimming skills, detailed information and deduction from context. well for me i prefer detailed information. scanning and skimming also useful sometimes.This unit differentiates each verb tense. It goes into detailed examples of affirmative, negative, and question form of the different verb tenses, which are: present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. The unit also describes the types of usages and typical student errors to look out for in the classroom.
