This unit was a busy unit that covered phrasal verbs, verbs/adverbs with prepositions, relative clauses, a clause/group of words that have both subject and verb, the passive voice, where the object becomes the subject, plus modal auxiliary verbs and semi modal verbs (in the video). The refresher on the nine modal auxiliary verbs including their usage and examples was straight forward and easy to understand. I had forgotten the eight \"true\" modal (will, would, should, shall, might, may, must can, and could) and their usages in obligations, permission, advice, abilities and possibilities. One part of the lesson that I want to use in class is the list of passive voice sentences about Henry and a crocodile. I think my primary students will find it funny. Anytime the children laugh while learning is a win.
