This unit focused on productive skills which include speaking and writing skills. Accuracy and fluency activities were compared and contrasted. Accuracy activities are generally done in the \"study\" phase in the ESA method, and the goal here is to produce the correct language output from students. Fluency activities on the other hand are generally done in the \"activate\" stage and these focus on students speaking and experimenting with the language. Here errors are expected to be made, and the teacher will not initially correct all errors, but can go back later and talk with the student or the class as a whole on reoccurring errors that are happening. Again the teacher needs to keep the students interests in mind so he/she can build games or activities around the things they enjoy or are interested in.
