Unit 20, the final unit. This lesson dealt with common problems that an EFL teacher can find themselves having to deal with and how to troubleshoot these problems. The issues includes breaking the ice, dealing with large class sizes, reluctant students, listening texts, use of native language, and teaching students of various language levels. I feel that many of the solutions are counter intuitive, another great reason to teach us these things. For instance, the listening texts and when the students want to use their native tongue. Reluctant students can still pose a huge problem, and is what I'm most nervous of encountering, especially if issues outside of the classroom are a factor as discussed in the previous lesson. All in all this lesson gave good guidelines on how to approach these inevitable problems.
