The question is if they are used always to their full potential and reasonably. The choise depends on many factors including the opportunities of school, the aims of the lesson etc. I think reasonable and effective using of teaching aids must be taught to every teacher and updated if needed. All the teaching aids give numerous possibilities to motivate and prompt students, to create and use supplement materials suited to the leaners' level and interests and for effective timing the lesson. In one word they help make the teaching process more successful. It would be great to have all the technical tools and possibilities in the classroom, but reality, however, is often somewhat different.
