This unit was a concise review of what we know as \"parts of speech.\" In other words, the unit went over how to break down sentences word by word, and identify each word and their role in the sentence. I learned everything from different forms of nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, to parts of speech that weren't as covered growing up, such as past participles, conjunctions, prepositions, and transitive/intransitive verbs. These parts were helpful mostly because growing up in an English country, with English as my first language, they stop clarifying the specifics of \"parts of speech\" early on in education, as English becomes a mindless part of our everyday life. In order to teach these concepts, it was very helpful to have a refresher course on ways to verbalize and communicate the English I use every day.
