Unit 7 covered how to teach, using general examples, new vocabulary, grammar, and language function to TEFL students. It explained how and why a teacher should choose specific vocab for a specific lesson (appropriacy for students and task, frequency of the word, the teachability of a word), and it also listed how to successfully cover vocab with the students (using ESA examples). The same was done with grammar structure - it covered what students need to know about the structure (the meaning and usage, forms and patterns, and the difference, if any, between spoken and written form), and then the unit covered a general example of how to teach grammar to TEFL students. Finally, this unit covered language functions (like inviting, agreeing and disagreeing, etc), and how to successfully present these lessons to a class.
