The content of the unit presents the brief overview of the conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals are subdivided into 5 types: zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, third conditional and mixed conditional. Zero conditional is related to the real facts, first conditional refers to real situations, second conditionals describe unreal situation in present, third conditional is used to talk about unreal events in past, mixed conditionals can be used to describe.different events (most frequently used one \"unreal event in past + unreal event in present\"). Each of the types has its own grammar pattern and different approaches should be used to teach them. Reported speech also presents a big problem to students as the transformations should be made on many levels: tense, adverbs of time, pronouns, etc.
