Even though young learners are categorized from five to thirteen, but the age gap is big and it is important to know how to handle all these learners. This unit has a good information about how to handle the young learners from knowing about their native language, the importance of their native language in order to acquire a new language, their like and dislikes in planning lesson, and how to help the young learners to achieve on learning a new language. It also share the information about what a teacher role really is in a different classroom settings. It is important to know that teaching young learner, is not so much about teaching but, more about how to help them to acquire the language. I've learned a lot from this unit and I can't wait to continue to learn on how I could help the young learner to learn a new language.
