Phrasal verbs and the transitive or intransitive nature of these has always been very confusing for the students. I found the content in this unit a bit thin. Transitive, intransitive, separable, inseparable and the numerous phrasal verbs in use does make it a hard job for any teacher to use the right teaching technique for all these. Tabulation of rules in simple English may help but practical use of language seems to be the only way any learner will master the use of these verbs. In practice, no native speaker starts to think \"is this transitive or intransitive?\" or \"is it separable or inseparable\". In all honesty, even with all the rules, there are occasions where even the native speaker may wrongly think the object can come between the verb and the preposition, because of regular misuse of the phrases by many in everyday speech.
