Unit 19 went through the various considerations a teacher must be able to adapt to when teaching different types of students. Some of those students included children, individuals, business clients and for other specific purposes. The approach for each type is different and the teacher must be aware of how to shape their delivery to the class so the students get the most out of the material. for example a student giving a class to young learners will include cues such as miming, pictures, simple games and present the material in a fun way contrasted to a teacher giving a lesson to business clients would take a more structured, professional approach. I learned the importance of the needs analysis given to students prior to them commencing, as this gives a foundation for the teacher to be able to customize their approach so the student will learn more efficiently.
