This unit examines the qualities, roles and responsibilities of both teachers and students. Where it brings out the qualities of a good teacher such as; lively and entertaining, able to motivate learners, being kind, loving teaching, have a good subject knowledge and many others. He also plays many roles like; role of a manager, organizer, Assessor, prompter, participant, facilitator, model. This unit also points out some qualities of a good learner of the language and the factors that should be considered when dealing with learners of the English language such as age, culture, language awareness, learning experience and many Others. The unit have benefited me a lot that is, identifies some factors that should be considered when dealing with English Language learners, knowing the qualities that a good teacher should possess,and knowing the roles of a teacher .
