I learned that it takes almost 4 years of full time study to completely learn English grammar. Students who learn English from elementary school age will have to spend their full school age to learn English grammar. It was very interesting that there are more polite version of English and little words can effect the certainty level of sentences.This unit covered modal phrases along with the passive voice. This unit also covered phrasal verbs. To me, it seems as though phrasal verbs would be the most difficult part of this section for non-native English speakers to understand. I think it would be really important to slow when teaching that section so students can grasp the information.
