This unit taught me the importance of pronunciation when teaching non native speakers the English language. This is also the first time I have been introduced to phonetic script which I thought was interesting.The unit covered different teaching methodologies suited to teaching. Lessons should be based on the Engage, Study, Activate (ESA) Model and allow students to engage in conversation and construct new knowledge.By doing this unit it bought a bit more clarity to the difference between the Present and past tenses as the present perfect tenses was getting a bit confusing but this Past sense Unit clears up all confusions
