Business EnglishI have always been aware that english is a language in demand. It became even more apparent whenI worked overseasthat english is indeed the universal business language. I worked in the Middle East and was often in contact with half a dozen countries on a daily basis. We relied on english as a means of clarity in sharing business, financial and contract support information. Business english is unique in itself because of the basis of business being numbers and yet another universal language! Numbers are a major common ground indeveloping business english because the bottom line is the focus of business and Business english gives the bottom line clarity and meaning. One can look to our American universities, peppered with a cultural wash. And now with the internet developing into a wonderful educational resource, the offering is world-wide at the fingertips of students and businesses wishing to refine skills. Skill development from speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar to vocabulary business english pronunciation, it is all available online and in the classroom. Business english is empowering because it opens up the global market with an even field in competitiveness, with everything else being equal.
