In this unit, I learned about how to organize my classroom and use different techniques to teach the students. It is recommended to use the Engage-Study-Activate method in order to teach English, I personally like the Patchwork type of ESA because it gives me more flexibility to personalize the lesson to fit the student or students I am teaching at the time. It was also enlightening to learn different types of engagement games to get the students excited for the study phase. Finally, it is important to learn how to give feedback to the students so that they continue their studies. I will work on staying positive and allowing the student to self-correct before I step in.
